The choice between the 88P (with alligator clips) and 85P and 84P models (with cigarette plug) comes down to preference. The 88P’s motor draws more current, so it had to be equipped with alligator clips that connect directly to your vehicle’s battery. The cigarette lighter plug models draw less current and can be accessed from your car’s interior.
